"Touch"

I just watched this for the first time. IT IS THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN.(probably) Perfect writing, perfect directing, perfect cinematography, perfect acting. It had me crying, smiling, and so very happy, and just experiencing everything as if I were really in the story. The preview may seem slightly cheesy, but in my opinion, after watching the full episode it is the complete opposite.

It gives an absolutely fascinating look on reality that really gets you thinking. It shows the universe and everything that happens in it as perfectly planned happenings, yet at the same time it's not a creepy overly happy-go-lucky utopia that comes to mind when you hear "perfect universe". There's still hurt, so much hurt, and real-world sort of issues, but the beauty in it is that they happen for specific reasons that have huge effects on things we never even dreamed could be connected. This incredible boy - who happens to be labeled as autistic in addition to many other things - understands it all. Now you may be thinking that this show has a sort of agenda and is trying to prove a deterministic view of reality, which to an extent it is, but it shows how one person's actions can still effect literally everything. By this boy knowing the future (in his own encrypted way), once people begin to understand him, he is able to change the future. There's a specific line in it where someone says something along the lines of "You can always do something. You can always change what happens." There's determined situation but they can still change the outcome by understanding this.

This one episode was both heart-breaking and heart-warming in so many ways. I can't explain the entire universe, and perhaps neither can this show... BUT WE MUST WATCH AND SEE. Regardless of it's philosophical ideas the show is a fascinating, suspenseful, and captivating journey. I'll be waiting for much, much more.
